It was orientation day for my college career at Michigan State University. I had no idea what I wanted to do in life, so I just decided to declare my major as business. I was looking at the classes I was going to have to take and none of them sounded interesting. I decided that business was definitely not for me, so I decided I would try education. Now, I could not be more happy about my decision! Four years later, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education with a focus in urban education and mathematics. Teaching is my passion, and I love every second of spending time with children and knowing that I am making a difference in their lives! I am so excited to start off this new year with you and your child!
My name is Jenna Lepkowski. I grew up in Macomb, Michigan. The most important thing to me in life is family and friends. I am surrounded by wonderful people all the time, including my two sisters. I am the middle child; I have one sister who is 24 and the other is 9 years old. I also have a Toy Poodle dog named Bailey; he was the most energetic little puppy around, but now that he is 10 years old, he is slowing down. While growing up, I was involved in a lot of activities, including soccer, basketball, piano, ice skating, dance and gymnastics, but my favorite thing was volleyball. I played volleyball in junior high and part of high school and was the captain of the team for two years. One of my other hobbies is drawing cartoon characters; I even painted them on windows!
